Greg is now in corporate. He takes a call, opens the deck - there it is, the fancy "AI Initiative." Budget approved. Executive sponsorship. The whole thing.
But where does he start?
Greg needs to decide which plant gets the proof of concept. The famous pilot. And if he picks wrong, the numbers don't go up, and the fancy initiative goes up in smoke.
So Greg goes for the plant that already has an OT network built for Line 4. Bill heads up things there now, and he has a good track record when handling tech transitions. The maintenance team actually logs their interventions. There's a historian connected to most of the PLCs.
That's not a guess - that's a readiness assessment.
